Item Description:

1946 Ercoupe model 415C. This airplane was designed after World War II as a plane that the returning GI pilots would hopefully buy and fly. It is a very simple is design in that it has no rudder pedals. This model has an aluminum skin fuselage and fabric covered wings. All models were two place side-by-side, and on the ground they drive like a car. That is, to taxi left, turn the control yoke left, to turn right, simply turn right. Most engines were 85 HP. From the ground you can usually tell it’s an Ercoupe by it’s distinctive ‘twin tail’. Some models were painted, but ours is polished. A real show stopper wherever she goes. This plane is on long term loan.
