Wisconsin Aviaton Museum Inc.

The Wisconsin Aviation Museum Inc, based in Fond du Lac, is collecting aircraft and aircraft related components. We are also starting a fund raising drive for our new display building.

Any organization, whether just starting out, or already established, has a uphill battle with fund raising events. Ours is no different. We are looking for complete or partial military aircraft, completed and flying homebuilt aircraft, partial completed homebuilt airplanes, and kit planes not yet started. Our needs also include complete running and run out engines, engine and flight instruments, and any other flight systems. Depending on location, we will pick up at no cost to you. Military aircraft can be donated on a long term loan basis.

We are also looking for both large and small donations of cash, from either individuals or corporations, from as little as $50.00 to as much as $10,000.00, or more for our new home. Naming rights to the museum building can be negotiated with a large donor. Our goal is to be self-sufficient through donations and fund raising events, admission fees and museum memberships. As stated earlier, we are all volunteers. We do not have a paid staff at this time. All donations will go toward the formation of the museum and it contents, and to pay any on-going expenses that we encounter.

If you or your firm would like to help in our cause, please do so by remitting to the address below. As noted else where, we are a IRS 501(c)(3) organization, and as such, any monies or properties that you donate qualify for a complete fair market value deduction on your income tax return as a charitable deduction. (forms are available elsewhere on our web site) If in doubt, ask your tax adviser. We will fax or mail a copy of the IRS ruling as to our 501(c)(3) to any interested parties.

Your gifts will be greatly appreciated by the Board of Directors and the youth and adults that take part in our activities.

Note: The museum changes out displays on a 2-5 year rotation. As the needs of the museum change, we reserve the right to use the aircraft for purposes other than display purposes.
